For the love of blue and white...

Blue and white is like a breath of fresh air!

An undulating, cascading ribbon of blue and white teacups nestled prettily within one another on their sides in this blue and white themed  vignette...

 They remain some of my all classic time favorites, reminding me also of the colors and rhythms of the waves on the deep Sapphire blue ocean. Or an azure blue river or a pristine glacial lake...

 The deepest true blue water where white caps and sea foamy white give us a romantic stirring and refreshment, an inspiration from nature in all of it's glory that is like no other... 

This darling little blue Limoges pillbox/trinket box "sofa" that is nestled in a larger sized, blue and white teacup sitting prettily and oh-so-demurely upon a pink rose, it was a gift from my husband a few years ago... 

I also have white rock sugar crystals and a few Demerara sugar cubes ( which are a kind of brown sugar cubes), along side my grandma's pearls, sitting upon the rose petals in this blue and white teatime vignette as well.

So whether blue and white flowers or perhaps glistening streams of pristine, sparkling blue water, or fresh air and blue skies with fluffy white clouds inspire you.   Either way and in any way... we all know that the timeless inspirations of blue and white and the inherent decor possibilities are endless. 

A timeless, yet ever fresh color combination when celebrating and enjoying this perennially lovely classic favorite... and all for the love of blue and white... Aah!

I even enjoy mixing in with my blue and white vignettes a fresh, tender Spring green, a chartreuse color, such as with this little footed, pedestal cupcake/ candy dish (shown above)... 

Also rose, yellow, lilac, orange or red, rust, chocolate brown, gold even turquoise or robins egg blue... 

Why not?  Really even any hint or touch of any extra color that you like.
