You will have to look up the UK, cooking and baking measurement equivalencies to convert the recipes measurements for the various ingredients to either US or Canadian or (for where ever you happen to live in the world). Check on the Internet by Googling that information, yet I think it will be well worth It perhaps. (Especially necessary of course, you want to try your hand at this recipe).
