Gayle's Victoria Day Afternoon Tea:

At long last, after approximately a six month hiatus of having our last opportunity to share one of  Gayle's exquisite tea's,  here we are. I am once again having the joyful fun of happily sharing this teatime loveliness of hers with all of you once again...

...Congratulations to dear Gayle and her new husband, whereas (as of the past few months),  she has just recently been married to a wonderful Dutch gentleman by the name of Chris. ~ (They have just recently returned from their European honey moon).

...This delightful  teatime repast is yet another special blog feature of my dear friend Gayle's latest afternoon tea parties (some of you may recall several of my earlier blog features of her tea parties).

Her latest tea was her Victoria day 2013 afternoon tea...

I am tickled pink... Delighted, honored and privileged to be able to feature her tea in their new apartment, as my latest special, blog guest feature...Fun!

Come on in...

Would you care for cream and sugar, or perhaps, honey and lemon in your tea?... Maybe  you prefer your tea black?...

Whatever your preference, Gayle has just the offerings to suit your individual palate and tastes... And all so beautifully laid out in  vignettes as varied as each of her individually themed afternoon teas.

Gayle is a true artist. An inimitable master of the fine art of food presentation and the display of her fine tea accouterments. ~ Her silver, linens, crystal, stemware, flowers, candles and fine porcelain and china. Her teapots, teacups, coffee pots, coffee cups, and her seemingly vast collections of exquisite, elegant antique serve ware are always so very artistically displayed.

OOH LA LA...

SO LOVELY, AS ALWAYS GAYLE!

As well as being a Victoria day tea, Gayle's recent afternoon tea party was first and foremost, dear young Ruby's birthday tea celebration... Happy B-day Ruby!

Peeking through the glass doors of Gayle's china cabinet, you can just barely catch a wee glimpse of  an absolutely exquisite antique set of Kelly green, white and gold trimmed dishes and a  matching teapot (in the picture above)...

Oh my!... I just love those amazing antique pretties. ~ Don't you also just love them?

~This week my dear fellow blogging friends, indeed our thoughts and prayers are with all those in Oklahoma who have been devastated and deeply traumatized by the tornado.  May we all join together and pray for our friends in Oklahoma and may God bless, keep, comfort and heal those that remain! We are daily reminded that life is indeed precious and most fragile.

Cheers , blessings and hugs from Wanda Lee

P.S.~ Is the picture or image here on my blog perhpas appearing too large on your computer screen?

Here is a possible suggestion... Because we all have different computer configurations, different web browsers, various computers and settings apparently you can also further adjust the image sizes if you wish to occasionally, for your viewing pleasure and greater ease...

Simply by pressing the right keyboard buttons...Voila!

Here is how:
*By simultaneously pressing the reduce or the enlargement image settings on your own computer keyboards.   Just press the Ctrl ( central shift) button ( on the lower left hand side of your computer keyboard), and also at the same time,  also press the " - " button to (reduce/minus) the image size...

Or alternatively once again, simply press the Ctrl ( central shift) button and then again the"+" (plus) buttons at the same time ( to enlarge the image size)... Those "-" or "+" buttons are located near the right hand, upper top portion of your computer keyboard.

This will then reduce the size of the image, or enlarge the images alternatively, as needs be to suit your preference.  You choose. ~ Hope this also helps my friends. Thanks.

A  fun and pretty DIY jewelry display project for you to perhaps try...

I had fun making these pretty jewelry display, earring holders using some picture frames that I re-purposed with thin foam core and then I used scrapbook paper instead of a picture and glass within the picture frames. ~ I then used push pins and voila; pretty! Yet also practical jewelry holders for my dressing/ vanity table.

*******************************

I even made a few new pairs of earrings for the first time ever, it was so much fun! ~ The decided to  hang them on my new, re-purposed, jewelry display picture frames..,(Actually, this is what inspired me to make these little jewelry display earring holders this week)..,

~  For this DIY PROJECT you will need the following items:

1 - A table top picture frame with a stand.

2 - Any craft paper, scrapbook paper, gift wrap paper (or even fabric if you wished), that you would like.

 3 - Thin foam core.

 4 - Decorative push pins.

 5 - Scissors.

6 - An Exacto knife or box cutter knife.

7 - A pen, thin tipped marker or pencil.

 8 - A ruler for measuring.

* DIY PROJECT How to:

~  You could use any paper, scrapbook paper, (or even fabric if you wished), that you would like. With the paper however, all you need do is to just force fit the paper over the thin foam core, (within the picture frame), after first measuring the size of paper and thin foam core that you will need. ~ Always cut the paper just a teeny tiny, hair's width, so to speak, smaller than the opening in the picture frame, (other wise the paper may buckle and wrinkle). There is no need to use glue.., (I also used a needle and a small hammer to first tap holes where I wanted the push pins to be, because I used  decorative pins that had no sharp tip).

There are a variety of lovely, decorative push pins available in craft stores, so this extra step would not be necessary with the sharp pin point tips. ~ It's easy to just push them right in and then hang your earrings or any other jewelry you desire, upon the pins.~ I used these silver jewelry findings pins, because they were pretty, however I generally use mostly clear, faux crystal-looking pushpins.

~ If you do decide to eventually try your hand at this DIY project, please do let me know how it works for you.  I'd love to see the photos of your finished project/re-purposed picture frame, jewelry holder!

Sparkly, glittered silver leaves, teacups, maple leaves tinged in golden glitter, pretty silver accessories, pink rose petals, creamy white roses, even sugared fruit, pears..,

Yum!.., French macarons and tea.

* . * . * . * . * . * . * . * . * . * . * . * . * . * . * .

This DIY (above), was made by re-purposing an antique Sterling silver napkin ring, setting the napkin ring on a dolls dish or a butter pat dish and then filling the antique Sterling silver napkin ring with toothpicks...Voila!

Thanks so very much for joining me once again this week my dear fellow blog friends
